Drumaheglis Caravan Park holds a 5* AA rating and enjoys a secluded location on the banks of the Lower River Bann with adjoining marina. The Lower River Bann is an excellent location to indulge in your favourite pastime, be it fishing, sailing or canoeing.

The site is four miles from the town of Ballymoney which has a leisure centre, Memorial Gardens to road racing legends Joey and Robert Dunlop and Ballymoney Museum where you can explore 9000 years of history.

Within a 30 minute drive, visitors can explore the Dark Hedges, the whole arc of beaches and holiday resorts stretching along the Causeway Coast, the fabled Glens of Antrim and the famous Giant’s Causeway World Heritage site.

Opening Dates 2016

The caravan park will open on the 17th March 2016 and close on the 1st November 2016

Please note: Full payment is required at the time of booking. Booking reference number is required for check in.

Touring

Advance booking is essential particularly for weekends, bank holidays and during July and August. Full contact details, including contact telephone number and vehicle registration will be required and payment must be received in full. Multiple bookings cannot be made by the same customer for bookings on the same dates.

You can use the park site map to view the location of available pitches before making your choice.

Please note that six is the maximum number of occupants permitted per pitch. Please note that only one tent, caravan or motorhome is permitted per pitch at any one time.

Pup tents (for 2 children aged 14 and under) or play tents with zips can be erected next to a Caravan to be charged the nightly rate of £5. All other tents will be charged at the nightly rates and sited on the appropriate camping areas.

Tent bookings

Council accepts tent bookings for up to a maximum of 6 people per tent. Larger parties may be allowed but only with prior approval. Please contact the office to discuss your requirements (028 2766 0280). In wet conditions, cars are not permitted to park on the grass tent area and will be required to park in the adjacent car park. Trailer Tents cannot be accommodated within the tent area and must book a serviced Caravan pitch.

Glamping

Our cabins sleep up to 4 people in 1 double bed and 2 singles. Light, heat and fridge provided for your use. No cooking or smoking allowed in the cabins and no pets. Please remember to bring bedding, sheets, duvet, sleeping bags & pillows etc.

Check In

You are requested not to arrive before 1.00pm and your pitch/cabin must be vacated by 12.00 noon on the day of departure.

Drumaheglis Marina is one of the few and most attractive access points to the Lower River Bann, with superb natural landscapes, making it an idyllic riverside location for cyclists, walkers and water enthusiasts.
